About Spinning Designs At Spinning Designs, we manufacture custom promotional products — including our signature large spinning prize wheels, Plinko boards, and interactive event games — proudly made in the USA. Our products show up at trade shows, events, and entertainment venues nationwide. We're a small, growing shop where craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a clean work area matter. The Role We build large prize wheels, Plinko boards, and event games — and most of what leaves our shop is built by hand. This is a craft role for someone who's spent years with drill presses, saws, sanders, adhesives, and hand tools, and who takes pride in finishing a piece until it's right. The work is varied — fabrication, assembly, finishing — and demands a careful eye and a steady hand.

Small details matter:

a clean edge, a flush joint, a smooth surface. You'll see a piece through from raw material to a finished product you'd be proud to put your name on. When orders stack up, you'll also help coach our entry-level team and back up the shop lead. There's some light CNC router work in the mix for basic cutting and shaping. We'll train you on it. What You'll Do Serve as the backbone of the team — coach entry-level teammates and support the shop manager during production Assemble final products to spec using hand tools, drill presses, saws, and sanders Fabricate parts from wood, aluminum, plastic, and steel Apply industrial adhesives to build large wheels and similar aluminum assemblies Read shop drawings and verify work with calipers, gauges, and tape measures Operate CNC routers for basic cutting and shaping (training provided) What We're Looking For 5+ years of hands-on shop or manufacturing experience (required) Real proficiency with hand tools — drill presses, saws, sanders, adhesives, and measuring tools A craftsperson's eye for detail and finish — you don't stop until the piece is right The patience and finesse to do precise work with your hands Maturity to stay steady and lead by example when the schedule gets heavy Willingness to coach entry-level teammates and support the shop lead Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented High school diploma or GED; fluent in English (written and spoken) Able to lift up to 50 lbs (including MDF sheets) and stand for extended periods Nice to Have (Not Required) Soldering or basic electronics assembly experience Basic welding skills for when we are in a pinch Interview Process Select candidates will be invited for a paid on-site interview (2 hours, compensated at $20/hour). Sessions are scheduled at 10:00 AM or 1:00 PM .

Hours :

This role can be either part-time or full-time, with a minimum of 25 hrs/maximum of 40 hrs weekly.

Full-time schedule is:

Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-2:30 PM.Flexible start time as early as 7:00 AM.

Lunch:

12:00-12:30 PM |

Breaks:

10:00-10:15 AM & 3:00-3:15 PM. Pay $27 per hour. Pay growth is tied to annual reviews that reward reliability, teamwork, and skill development. Benefits Employer-sponsored health plan
