Painter/Refinisher (Residential Cabinetry): Base Pay+Bonuses+PTO

The pay for the job is $12-$32/hour (base pay plus bonuses). Pay is based on performance, so you're only going to want to apply if you're skilled! We care about results and skillset , not experience (unless your experience has sharpened your skills). We are looking for someone with a high skillset in the following criteria: Prepping and painting kitchen/bathroom cabinet and vanity doors and drawers Both airless and HVLP spraying Cleaning cabinet doors/drawers to prep for paint Sanding cabinet doors/drawers to prep for paint Filling woodgrain to prep for paint Boring holes to retrofit soft close hinges for doors that previously did not have them Removal, labeling, and inspection of cabinet doors/drawers from kitchen/bathroom cabinets and vanities onsite in clients' homes. (Most work is residential and you'll be working in homes that are actively lived in). Installation of freshly painted cabinet doors/drawers Smooth touch up of freshly painted cabinets without "flashing" Installation and retrofitting of soft-close hinges to replace older style cabinet door hinges Installation and retrofitting of new cabinet doors to replace older style cabinet doors Transportation of cabinet doors/drawers without damage during transport Effective time management in transporting cabinet doors, drawers, crown molding, hardware, paint, and other materials to and from jobsites Prepping and painting kitchen/bathroom cabinets and vanities onsite in clients' homes. (Most work is residential and you'll be working in homes that are actively lived in). Brush/roll (achieving a near-spray like finish is required) Both airless and HVLP spraying Cleaning kitchen cabinets to prep for paint Sanding kitchen cabinets to prep for paint Filling woodgrain to prep for paint Masking cabinet openings, masking surrounding surfaces, and "tenting" kitchens for paint Installation and retrofitting of soft-close drawer slides to replace older style drawer slides Installation of crown molding on cabinetry Experience is required for this position. Level of skillset matters more than amount of experience in order for you to be successful. Now for the non-negotiables about the job. You MUST have the following in order to be considered: Reliable vehicle to transport project materials in and around the Albuquerque Metro Area and Surrounding Areas (a truck or van will be necessary). Your own tools and the ability to transport them (we will provide some tools/equipment). Absolutely stellar communication skills. An eagerness for self improvement and an extreme sense of accountability. An ability to problem solve independently. Ability to work alone, efficiently and effectively. Ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Clean driving record.
