Position Summary:
The Glazing position inputs glass to frames, adhering units properly, and getting units ready for delivery.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements Adhere glass or other materials to assembled frames and doors using caulking or other adhesives Install all complementary materials, such as insulation, gaskets, trim, glass stops, etc. so that completed units are ready for installation Identify and correct issues to ensure quality control metrics are maintained
Work Experience & Requirements:
Reliable transportation Authorized to work in the U.S. High school diploma or equivalent Glass and Glazing experience preferred, but not required Construction and/or manufacturing experience working with large materials, including: Reading a tape measure and performing basic fraction and decimal changes Reading and interpreting drawings, including blueprints, to meet product specifications Using caulking and other adhesives Using hand and power tools safely and effectively Operating equipment properly Physical ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds), work in various positions, and handle strenuous tasks Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Must be willing to work in other capacities in the shop as needed Perks of working at Anderson Aluminum include: Excellent starting pay Comprehensive health benefits Strong 401(k) retirement savings options Generous Holiday and Vacation plans Additional Incentive Perks Friendly work environment
