Truss Builder Location Eaton, OH Pay Rate:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am-5:30 pm (4-day workweek) Strong buildings start with strong structures—and this Truss Builder is at the heart of it all. A growing residential construction manufacturer is seeking a Truss Builder to join its production team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, reading build drawings, and contributing to high-quality construction materials used in homebuilding projects. With a consistent weekday schedule, a 4-day workweek, and room to grow within a stable operation, this role offers both reliability and long-term potential. Shift Starts. You Take Over. High school diploma or equivalent 2-3 years of experience in carpentry, truss building, construction, or a related manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Proficiency with hand tools and power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform repetitive physical tasks Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious mindset Ability to stand for the duration of an entire shift and work effectively in a manufacturing environment Why This Job? What You'll Do Read and interpret building drawings, blueprints, and plans to determine truss specifications Select, prepare, and handle lumber and other materials for truss assembly Assemble roof and floor trusses using hand tools and power tools according to specifications Inspect completed trusses to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards are met Follow all safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines Maintain accurate documentation of materials used, trusses built, and production issues Jobs You Can Count On "They are so reliable at helping you find jobs," -Matthew, Staffmark Associate.
