Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated experienced woodworker to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will bring craftsmanship, precision, and creativity to a variety of woodworking projects, from custom cabinetry and furniture to restoration and renovation tasks. Responsibilities Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute woodworking projects. Operate a wide range of hand tools and power tools including saws, drills, sanders, and CNC machines to cut, shape, and assemble wood components. Construct custom cabinetry, furniture pieces, framing structures, and architectural millwork with precision. Install fixtures such as doors, windows, siding, molding, trim carpentry, and cabinetry on construction sites or in manufacturing settings. Perform restoration work including water damage repair, mold remediation, plastering, stucco application, and rebar installation for structural reinforcement. Measure and cut materials accurately for projects involving flooring installation, tile laying, roofing support structures, metal stud framing, or masonry work. Collaborate with project managers to estimate construction costs related to woodworking tasks and ensure adherence to safety standards on-site. Requirements Proven experience in woodworking with a strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship in cabinetry, furniture making, or restoration projects. Proficiency with hand tools such as chisels, planes, saws; power tools including routers, CNC machines; and specialized equipment for fabrication and assembly. Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics for accurate project execution. Experience working on construction sites with familiarity in construction estimating, framing carpentry, heavy lifting, scaffolding safety procedures and site protocols. Skills in related trades such as plumbing, electrical work, masonry or roofing are a plus. Ability to perform precise measurements and detailed finishing work including caulking and fixture installation. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces when necessary.
