Overview Join our dynamic team as a Custom Cabinetmaker and Finisher, where craftsmanship meets precision to create stunning, high-quality cabinetry tailored to our clients' unique visions. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating custom cabinets, finishing surfaces with expert attention to detail, and ensuring each piece meets our rigorous standards of excellence. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and fabricate custom cabinetry using hand tools, power tools and fabrication techniques. Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and schematics to ensure precise construction and installation. Finish cabinets with sanding, staining, painting, caulking, and sealing to achieve a flawless surface finish. Install cabinets securely on-site, including door hanging, fixture installation, and alignment for optimal functionality. Perform restoration work on existing cabinetry or furniture pieces, including water damage repair and re-finishing. Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure specifications are met while adhering to safety standards on construction sites. Skills Extensive experience with woodworking techniques including cabinetry fabrication and finishing. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding schematics for custom projects. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws), power tools (e.g., drills, sanders) and other fabrication equipment. Knowledge of construction processes and ability to interpret construction drawings related to cabinetry or remodeling projects. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining precision during fabrication or installation work.
