Responsibilities Collaborate closely with clients to understand their lifestyle, aesthetic preferences, and functional requirements for kitchen cabinetry projects. Create detailed, accurate design plans using software such as Moziak, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and 3ds Max to visualize concepts clearly. Develop comprehensive project proposals including material selections, color schemes based on color theory, lighting design considerations, and budget estimates. Prepare detailed drafting and construction documents utilizing Bluebeam and Adobe Creative Suite to ensure seamless communication with contractors and manufacturers. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to select high-quality materials, hardware, and finishes that align with the client's vision and project specifications. Manage multiple projects from initial concept through installation while maintaining timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Assist in contract negotiations and ensure all project details adhere to safety standards, building codes, and client expectations. Qualifications Proven experience in interior design or cabinetry design with a strong portfolio showcasing kitchen projects. Proficiency in Moziak, SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, Adobe Photoshop, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is essential. Solid understanding of drafting techniques, CAD software workflows, and construction documentation processes. Knowledge of lighting sales, remodeling processes, renovation best practices, and construction management. Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines effectively. Familiarity with contracts law related to interior design projects is a plus. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with clients, vendors, contractors, and team members. Background in color theory, interior design principles, budgeting strategies, and lighting design will enhance your success in this role.
