Responsibilities Install, replace, and repair glass in windows, doors, storefronts, partitions, and other architectural features with precision and care Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installation according to project specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble glass components efficiently Perform heavy lifting of glass panels and framing materials safely to meet project deadlines Apply caulking, glazing compounds, and sealants to ensure weatherproofing and energy efficiency of installations Assist with remodeling projects by performing trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and metal stud framing as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Skills Extensive experience with glass installation, fabrication, and handling heavy glass panels Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings for precise execution Skilled in using hand tools such as chisels, screwdrivers, levels; power tools including drills and saws; and specialized fabrication equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project planning Strong background in construction site experience across commercial or residential projects Ability to perform drywall finishing tasks like painting or patching when required during remodeling projects Familiarity with fixture installation—including lighting fixtures or hardware—and cabinet assembly or installation Experience with metal stud framing, door hanging, trim carpentry, and handyman tasks for versatile project support Capable of heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with construction work Understanding of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems related to glazing or fixtures Excellent teamwork skills combined with attention to detail for high-quality craftsmanship This role is perfect for motivated professionals eager to showcase their craftsmanship while expanding their expertise in the construction industry.
