Closets & Cabinets: Installer

Memphis Garage & Closets designs, sells and installs custom closets, garage storage systems (such as cabinets, racks, shelving and wall organizers), home offices, pantries and tons more. All of our systems and services are configured custom for each customer and their space. We are looking for an experienced cabinet installer / trim carpenter. (Must be verifiable experience) $20-$35 / Hour Pay. based on experience. W-2 employees will received paid holidays, and access to medical, dental and vision insurance options after a 90 day probationary period. 1099 options available as well if preferred.

Installer :

This is a hands on labor job. Jobs are inside customer's homes and in their garage. Exposure to hot and cold environments is common on a daily basis. In addition to installation specific skills, individuals must be able to pick up and carry heavy and awkward materials on a consistent basis both alone and with assistance. Individuals may be part of an installation crew meaning you must work well with others and be able to take instructions from the crew lead and business owner as well as working autonomously and staying self motivated completing jobs in a safe, efficient and quality manner. Installers Primary job Responsibilities will be to install custom closet systems, garage cabinets & other shelving/ organization systems as well as load and unload materials at the jobsite as well as at our warehouse in preparation of upcoming jobs. Some minimal painting and drywall repair may be required during the installation / prep process. Must maintain a clean and organized warehouse and work trailer; as well as other tasks as needed. -Required skills to perform the job of

Install Associate :

Verifiable cabinet installation or hands on trim carpenter expeirence building shelving, cabinets, closets or other storage systems. -demonstrated knowledgeable of the use of basic carpentry tools such as tape measures, drills, saws, levels, stud finders screwdrivers, etc.... capable of pulling and backing a 7x14 enclosed trailer behind a work truck owned by the business. Must be fully insurable with a clean driving record. Pay is done bi-weekly by direct deposit. We are drug free work place. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening and subject to random drug screening after hire. Must be legal to work in the United States and have all documentation to support work eligibility.
