Job Description:
GAL AeroStaff Ltd. is an aerospace staffing company specializing in temporary and permanent staffing for general and technical positions in the aviation and aerospace industry. Aircraft Cabinet Maker The Sr. Aircraft Cabinet Maker builds and installs high-end aircraft cabinetry using veneers, laminates, hardwoods, and composite materials to support aircraft interior completions. This role ensures all work is completed efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards and may assist in training and mentoring other cabinet builders. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Fabricate, assemble, and install aircraft cabinetry and interior components Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and customer specifications Work with veneers, laminates, hardwoods, Corian, and composite materials Build and install drawers, cabinets, monuments, and interior structures Layout, route, and install inlays, switches, cup holders, and interior features adhesives, epoxies, and bonding techniques to materials Fabricate components including hinge blocks, panels, and interior assemblies Operate equipment such as CNC machines, pin routers, and table saws Prepare and assemble fiberglass panels and cabinetry structures Support the training and mentorship of cabinet builders and team members Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and production schedules Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean and organized work environment Meet assigned schedules and production targets Regular and prompt attendance Other duties as assigned Competencies To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Adaptability

Summary of Education, Experience & Certification High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum four (4) years of aircraft cabinetry experience required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. This position may be subject to ITAR (U.S. Person) requirements. This safety-sensitive position may be subject to DOT/FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program, including pre-employment and random testing.
