Installer Assistant SWDEP El Paso, TX Job Details Full-time $12 - $14 an hour 1 day ago Benefits On-the-job training Qualifications OSHA 10 Driver's License Attention to detail Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer Assistant to join our installation team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of installation services, supporting senior technicians in completing projects efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, dependable, and capable of working in a dynamic environment. No prior experience is required. Duties Assist experienced installers with the setup and installation of blinds, roller shades, tracks and curtains Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for installations Support in measuring and assembling components according to specifications Use tape measure to an 1/8" accuracy and knowledge of basic tools Follow safety protocols and ensure all work complies with industry standards Maintain a clean and organized workspace during and after installation projects Collaborate with team members to complete installation tasks within designated timeframes Qualifications Basic knowledge of tools, including tape measure and drills Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment Ability to lift heavy equipment safely and stand for extended periods during installations Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (with clean driving record) are required Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different project requirements Prior experience in reading construction blue prints and specifications are a plus OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certification preferred This position offers valuable training opportunities for individuals interested in building a career in installation.
