Summary Fixtures International is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team in the Houston downtown area . As a Cabinet Maker at Fixtures International, you will play a vital role in crafting high-quality cabinetry that enhances our clients' retail and commercial spaces. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative projects that define industry standards and reflect our commitment to excellence. Responsibilities Fixtures International is looking for someone who can build custom cabinets, counters, and showcases by studying blueprints and specifications; setting-up and operating equipment; verifying dimensions; assembling and finishing components. Construct, assemble, and install custom cabinets according to specifications and blueprints. Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure precision. Select appropriate materials and tools for each project. Collaborate with designers and project managers to meet client expectations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment on all job sites. Ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to quality standards. Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process. Set up and operate a variety of woodworking machines and use various hand tools to fabricate and repair cabinets and showcases. Must be able to read and follow prints of items to be built Set up and operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointer, mortiser, tenoner, molder, and sharper Trim component parts of joints to ensure snug fit Control costs by conserving use of equipment and supplies Prepare articles for finishing. Laminate or edge band items as necessary and put on any required hardware Qualifications Fixtures International is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in cabinetry construction and installation.
