Job Description

ROLE DESCRIPTION
As Cabinet Technician 1 your primary responsibility will be to assist in the removal, installation, delivery, pickup, finish, and building of cabinetry. This role is primarily in the field at job sites with a portion of your time spent in the shop at our facility. Communication with the Production Manager, Lead Technician and General Manager is imperative. We ask that you help promote our instituted company culture. This role reports directly to the Production Manager.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Include but not limited to: Daily communication flow with Lead Technicians, Production Manager, builders, finishers, and General Manager Proficient in cleaning cabinet finishes in a workshop and onsite environment.
  • Understand proper sanding of solid and veneered wood cabinet surfaces
  • Proactive approach to daily activities; identifies and solves problems
  • Assists Lead Technicians in removing cabinets from job sites and supporting heavy countertops in place.
  • Assist Lead Technicians in installing finished cabinets on job sites including underneath supported countertops.
  • Assist in pick-up and delivery of cabinetry and materials. Promote a safe work environment at all times by strictly adhering to all safety requirements and procedures. Safely utilize equipment including power tools, sanders, dust collection, saws, etc. when directed to do so by Lead Cabinet Technicians and other supervisors.
  • Keep the shop and vehicles in a clean, safe, and organized condition. Ensure job sites and customer's property is kept clean, safe, and organized before, during, after your time on-site.
  • Maintain proper records of duties performed and transactions completed.
  • Utilize and become proficient in DASH job management system from your mobile device
  • Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred:
  • 1+ years experience in installation, insurance claims, construction, remodeling, renovation, home services, cabinetry, furniture, or wood working
Required:
  • Attention to detail, timeliness, organized, and customer-focused
  • Experience in on-site construction, restoration, remodeling, or renovation or high school equivalent
  • Experience interacting with customers on job sites
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00 - $21.00 per hour
