Job Description

CABINET & MILLWORK SHOP SPECIALIST
Come join our team in helping take a client's design concept and making it a reality. We specialize in creating reception desks, 3-D wall panels, custom pieces, die walls, countertops, specialty tables with metal accents and complex structures for hotels, restaurants, store fronts, TI's, and other commercial projects. Our shop hours are from 7:00 am
  • 3:45 pm Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities:
  • Follows core values & motto of excellence
  • Listen, communicate, and work together with team to complete projects
  • Take ownership with production schedules to meet deadlines and customer requests
  • Ability to assemble and work with laminate, veneer panels, and build custom pieces
  • Ability to learn, run and maintain cabinet shop equipment including saws, sander, etc.
  • Oversee product quality and ensure adherence to maintain AWI standards
  • Ensure products meet customer expectations based on company objectives
  • Ability to use software for tracking each product
  • Ensure shop cleanliness and safety standards are being met
Experience:
  • Must be detailed oriented
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be able to be on feet most of the day
Qualifications:
  • Must be dependable and reliable and have excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must be approachable and get along well with others
  • Ability to learn to read blueprints and fabrication drawings and work orders
  • Ability to learn how to use a measuring tape and operate hand tools and saws required for production
  • Knowledge of equipment (ability to learn how they work and their limitations)
  • Must have good listening and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to pass background and random drug tests
Compensation:
  • Full time (hourly)
  • $18•25 per hour, compensation depends upon experience
Pay:
$18.00
