Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Draftsman / Cabinet Designer to join our cabinet shop team in Salt Lake City. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with frameless cabinet construction and be highly proficient in Cabinet Vision. This role is responsible for producing accurate shop drawings, engineering cabinet layouts for production, and coordinating with project managers, production staff, and installers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities Create detailed cabinet shop drawings, production drawings, and cut lists using Cabinet Vision Develop and engineer frameless cabinetry for residential and/or commercial projects Interpret architectural drawings, field measurements, and design specifications Prepare drawings for CNC manufacturing and production workflows Coordinate with sales, project managers, and shop personnel to resolve design and production issues Verify dimensions, materials, hardware selections, and construction details Maintain drawing standards and organized project documentation Assist with material optimization and production efficiency improvements Revise drawings and documentation as projects evolve Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in cabinet drafting, engineering, or design Advanced proficiency in Cabinet Vision Strong understanding of frameless cabinet construction methods Experience preparing CNC-ready drawings and shop documentation Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings Knowledge of cabinet hardware, materials, and manufacturing processes Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and organizational abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer skills Preferred Qualifications Experience in a custom cabinet or architectural millwork environment Knowledge of CNC machining processes Familiarity with commercial casework standards Field measuring experience is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Health benefits (if applicable) Paid time off and holidays Opportunities for advancement and professional development How to Apply Please submit your resume, portfolio/sample drawings (if available), and a brief summary of your experience with Cabinet Vision and frameless cabinetry.Pay:
