In this role, you will be responsible for constructing many different types of custom wood products related to home renovations and cabinetry, including: wood countertops, toe kicks/platforms for cabinetry, fireplace mantles, hoods for stovetops, etc. Your expertise will contribute to creating functional, durable, and visually appealing custom products for residential and commercial projects. This position offers many learning opportunities and potential for advancement. All production is custom to each job every time, and you will assemble many different types and sizes of wood products frequently. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and assembly instructions to accurately construct residential products and fixtures Use hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to assemble custom components with precision Install hardware, fixtures, trim carpentry elements, and other finishing touches to ensure quality standards are met Perform heavy lifting and maneuver large or bulky materials safely on the manufacturing floor Conduct quality inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure adherence to specifications and safety protocols Collaborate with team members on ensuring details are correct, parts are fabricated correctly, and finalization is completed thoroughly Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools (saws, drills, hammers), power tools (routers, sanders), CNC machines, and other fabrication equipment Experience in carpentry disciplines including trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, fixture installation, hardware installation such as drawer slides, hinge plates, doors, and cabinetry face frames Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly Knowledge of construction site safety practices and experience working on active construction sites or manufacturing environments Communication skills for collaborating with team members on schematics interpretation and project coordination Notes Pay is negotiable, and may be determined by skill and/or experience. Scheduling is also negotiable, although a full time position is vastly preferred. English is preferred, but some employees are also fluent in Spanish Some history of woodworking experience is required. We may teach you the methods we use, but we are not looking to teach someone without some experience in woodworking.
