The ideal candidate will have multiple years experience in fabricating high-quality cabinetry and fixtures for residential projects. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Must have a thorough knowledge of power and hand tools associated with cabinet building, as well as being able to identify different species of wood. Is familiar with all types of cabinetry; flush inset, overlay and frameless. The ideal candidate will be able to jump into any position in a cabinet shop to fill needs as required. Ideally this job will turn into a foreman position. Duties Fabricate cabinets and custom furniture pieces according to design specifications. Installing hardware Milling lumber to specific dimensions for trim lists Build and assemble cabinetry using hand tools and power tools. Ensure all projects are completed on time while maintaining high-quality standards. Putty and sand cabinets so they are ready for finish Maintain a clean and organized workspace Conduct heavy lifting as required during the assembly process. Requirements 5 Years Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) safely. Strong understanding of woodworking techniques and materials. Positive attitude Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
