Becks Quality Cabinets, Inc., located in Suamico, WI is seeking motivated individuals to add to our growing, well-equipped custom shop. Our company designs, builds, and installs high-quality, custom cabinetry for our commercial and residential clients.
Summary/Key Objective:
The custom cabinet builder is responsible for the construction and building of cabinets, wood tops, mantles, and other wooden objects.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reading and understanding computer-aided design (CAD) drawings of how cabinets need to be assembled. Utilizing a rip saw to rip lumber to proper dimensions. Cutting material to proper size based on cabinet design. Running the overhead sander efficiently. Using air-assisted nail/staple gun, glue, and clamps to assemble items.
Continuously inspecting quality:
checking for flaws in materials, ensuring processes are followed accordingly, etc. Machining different profiles on lumber as specs provide, using a router. Laminating commercial cabinets; this includes laying, trimming, filing, etc. Other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Other Qualifications:
Cabinetry and/or woodworking experience is preferred. A related experience that requires using basic hand tools and a tape measure is required, such as carpentry experience. Basic math skills and the ability to read blueprints/plans are required. Must be able to effectively communicate with team members. Must be able to read a tape measurer accurately (1/16"-1/32"). Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds unassisted.
