Job Description

Qualifications Working knowledge of woodworking hand and power tools Strong working knowledge architectural drawings, shop drawings, and fixture plans Excellent organizational and project management skills Strong problem-solving and the ability to implement solutions quickly Strong communication and interpersonal skills Good understanding of safety and quality control standards Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Ability to adapt to changes in production schedules and project requirements Demonstrated ability to repair and maintain mechanical equipment Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to utilize CAD type software is a definite plus Capable of multi-tasking and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Extremely organized, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight production timelines Must be thorough with a strong sense of attention to detail Must be resourceful and initiative-taking Self-motivated and driven individual Ability to repetitively lift materials 25 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs Ability to grip and grasp lumber and panels Ability to stand up to ten (10) hours a day Ability to turn and twist wrist and hands Responsibilities This role leads and reinforces a high performing safety culture Through employee engagement and support, focuses on performance improvement, cost reduction, product delivery, and customer service Responsible for all aspects of the wood shop production, which include converting raw materials into finished products that meet requirements for quality Responsible for ensuring production schedule is met to deliver service expectations
