1st Shift, Monday - Friday, 5 am - 1:30 pm About the
Role:
The Millwork Operator / Cabinet Maker is responsible for taking wood parts cut by CNC machinery and assembling finished products according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assemble wood parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery according to detailed specifications and blueprints Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and production prints Inspect assembled products for defects or deviations from quality standards and report concerns to the quality team Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly challenges and improve production processes Follow all company safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Safely handle and move materials throughout the production area Assist with additional production or assembly tasks as needed
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required Basic understanding of wood assembly techniques and tools preferred Previous cabinet making, woodworking, or manufacturing experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience working within industrial safety standards preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, and maneuver wood parts safely
