Job Description:
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Process Technician. The Process Technician will be responsible for operating thin-film equipment for the fabrication and characterization of tandem solar cells and support module prototyping. They will also be responsible for process optimization, characterization, troubleshooting, as well as implementing process improvements to enhance production efficiency and quality. Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or Associate's degree in science or engineering and 2+ years of relevant experience or High school degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with thin-film deposition techniques such as blade-coating, slot-die coating, sputtering, evaporation, and chemical vapor deposition (CVD)
  • Hands-on lab skills and knowledge of safety in a wet chemistry environment and safe use of hazardous materials
  • Capable of handling fragile substrates such as silicon wafers
  • Experience with process development, optimization, and characterization
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and design of experiments (DOE)
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with solar cell operation or manufacturing is a plus
