Attention to detail Materials handling Full Job Description Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Chemical Room Operator, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality chemical products. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your technical skills and attention to detail to support our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for handling chemicals, operating equipment, and maintaining safety standards to contribute to our commitment to excellence and innovation, receiving the parts into the area, processing them per the job order, inspecting and packaging them for shipment. The chemical room operator is also responsible for taking daily tank measurements and adjusting the process tanks as required. 1st and 2nd shift needed. Work Instruction Count and inspect parts Review customer documentation to make sure the correct process is called out on the job order and the parts are masked correctly Rack parts Process through the specified process Un-rack the parts Inspect and package for customer delivery Complete job order paperwork Record job in the Excel Standard Cost Worksheet Process Controls Take tank measurements daily and enter into the Excel spreadsheet Update SPC charts once data is entered Make adjustments to process tanks to keep them within the statistical control limits Run monthly process control coupons with a production lot for each process Chemical PreClean

RoHs Compliant Chemical Conversion Coating of Aluminum Skills Basic math skills (counting of parts) Basic understanding of ISO9001 and AS9100 quality system Basic understanding of Mil and ASTM requirements Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings Basic knowledge of acid/ base chemistry Knowledge of hazardous materials Knowledge of personal protective gear requirements. Must be able to work as part of a team Must be able to stand for 8 - 10 hours each day Lift up to 50lbs alone Good attendance and punctuality is imperative Must be able to pass an illicit drug test Maintain a clean and organized work area
Pay:
$17.00 - $19.00 per hour
