We are developing and manufacturing new dental implant systems and components with superior quality, utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes. Paragon was founded in 2022 by Dr. Gerald Niznick, a pioneer of Dental Implantology. Under the direction of Dr. Niznick, our team will develop and manufacture new dental implant systems and components with superior quality, utilizing state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment and processes, together with a talented workforce. Pay Range:
$23.00 - $28.00 (Candidates must match all criteria to be considered for the high end of the compensation pay range.) Paragon Implant offers two weeks (80 hours) of vacation, one week (40 hours) of Sick Leave, Holiday pay, and medical, dental and vision options (with a significant employer-paid portion of the premiums for the employee), and a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with an employer match, adding value to the Total Compensation Package.
Job Summary :
Responsible for ensuring the production process is properly operated, while performing anodizing and chemical cleaning processes in accordance with specifications, blueprints, standards, and company policies/procedures. Place parts in a basket, or individually rack the parts, in preparation for treatment based on a pre-determined schedule. Use proper tooling and fixtures when applicable. Place (aka "dip") basket or racks in solution container. Monitor line to ensure proper operation. Unload and quality inspect parts to ensure they meet company standard. Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. Read and analyze work orders, production schedules, and other records and report to determine daily/monthly production. Interpret specifications, blueprints, job orders, and company policies and procedures for department personnel. Troubleshoot any problems throughout the production process and choose the best course of action. Formulate (with chemicals) the anodizing tank specification, weekly. Check and maintain bath concentration, adding chemicals and "top off" tanks. Perform consistent visuals underneath a microscope. Efficiently run the waste treatment system, analyze all baths as scheduled and add elements as needed. Maintain Inventory of chemical consumables. Ensure temperatures and levels in anodized baths are within limits and in control. Adhere to all safety procedures. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Required:
Minimum of one (1) year of related experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment. Basic understanding of chemical mixing. Proficient in basic math (i.e., add, subtract, multiply, divide). Ability to solve practical problems and handle a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization and supervision exist. Demonstrated attention to detail. Ability to maintain safe work practices and comply with hazardous chemical requirements. Support team environment.
Preferred:
Minimum 3 years of Medical Device experience. Minimum 2 years of experience mixing and handling hazardous chemicals, including acids. Background in chemistry. Working knowledge of basic algebra concepts.
Physical:
Good vision and ability to decipher depth. Excellent ability to decipher specified color spectrum on product. Ability to reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion. Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time 90% of the time. Hand and finger dexterity to handle or feel objects frequently.
