Production Technician

Our client, a high-performance composite materials manufacturing company, is looking for a Production Technician I to join their team in Camarillo, CA. In this entry-level role, you will support daily manufacturing operations by learning core production processes, operating basic machinery under supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the manufacturing of composite materials using various processes including resin mixing, prepregging, lamination, CNC cutting, and kitting Support setup and operation of production lines such as fiber processing, resin mixing, and prepreg lines under supervision Operate basic production equipment and tools following standard operating procedures (SOPs) Safely handle chemicals, resins, and composite materials in accordance with safety data sheets (SDS) and proper PPE protocols Perform routine visual and dimensional inspections and accurately complete production records and batch documentation Assist with material handling tasks including loading, unloading, labeling, and staging of materials Participate in cross-training across multiple workstations to develop foundational processes Perform routine inspections and report any quality or safety deviations immediately Uphold 5S standards to maintain a clean, safe, and organized production environment Adhere to all EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) policies and procedures

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED with 6 months to 1 year of work experience or trade school preferred Ability to read and interpret safety rules, SOPs, operating instructions, and procedure manuals Strong math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals Basic computer skills with ability to enter data Respirator Fit Test/Certification required — must maintain compliance throughout employment

Pay & Schedule:

Pay Rate:

$20.00 - $27.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:
