In this role, you will diagnose, repair, rebuild, and maintain Tesla high-voltage battery packs, electrical systems, and related components. You will work hands-on with cutting-edge EV technology in a fast-paced environment where problem-solving, technical skill, and attention to detail are highly valued. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot Tesla high-voltage battery systems and related EV components Perform battery pack removal, disassembly, inspection, repair, and reinstallation Repair or replace battery modules, cooling components, wiring, connectors, and electrical assemblies Safely perform high-voltage power down and power up procedures following EV safety protocols Use diagnostic tools, service software, and technical documentation to identify and resolve issues Perform testing and quality checks to ensure proper battery and vehicle operation Assist with repair and maintenance of Tesla electrical and mechanical systems when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Document repairs, findings, and completed work accurately Communicate effectively with team members regarding diagnostics, repair status, and technical concerns Follow company procedures and continuously improve technical knowledge and repair skills Support the growth of the shop by maintaining high-quality workmanship and professionalism Qualifications Experience working on Tesla vehicles or other electric vehicles preferred Strong understanding of high-voltage battery systems, electrical components, and EV safety procedures Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues independently Experience with battery pack removal, disassembly, repair, or module replacement is highly preferred Familiarity with Tesla Service Mode, Toolbox, or other diagnostic software is a plus Knowledge of standard automotive repair procedures and workshop practices Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to lift heavy components and perform physical work throughout the day Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Willingness to learn, adapt, and grow with a rapidly expanding EV repair company Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred ASE certification or EV-related certifications are a plus, but not required
