Job Description

Join hubergroup USA as a Production Operator in the Marietta, GA (USA) area! hubergroup USA, a leading global supplier of printing inks, coatings, and related products, is seeking a 1st shift Production Operator.
SUMMARY:
1st
SHIFT:
8:00 am-4:30 PM, M-F. Seeking an experienced Production Operator with Paste Inks. May perform one or all of the below duties in a safe & efficient manner for production of high-quality printing ink. Weighs quantities of material, operates one or more mixers to mix the materials, and cleans tubs after batches are finished. Must be able to pass a Drug and Background screening, Full Benefits Package. PAY depends on experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following as well as the performance of other assignments or duties as assigned. A.Batchweigher Weighs batches as planned and assigned by the Supervisor or Lead Operator; Follows the directions on the batch ticket, taking batch tickets back to the lab for re-inspection when there appears to be an error; Selects the proper mixing tub for the batch (size and previous color) and makes sure it is clean; Checks the raw material inventories to be sure that all ingredients for the batch are available before beginning to weigh the batch. Notifies Supervisor of any unusual differences in raw material; Uses the proper scale for weighing the raw materials (quantities of less than three pounds should be weighed on a digital scale); Shows all figures on the batch tickets, including lot numbers, of all raw materials and checks items off as they are weighed so that steps can be retraced if necessary; When batch has been weighed, signs batch ticket, marks the tub with the full formula number, and moves finished batch to proper area; Possesses knowledge of raw materials used in operations and the relationship of raw materials to ink formulations; Ability to apply basic math skills to scales and instruments used for weighing.
B.MIXER OPERATOR
Properly mixes batches of ink as directed by the supervisor and the schedule, taking quality batch samples to QC as needed and makes any additions as directed; Delivers batches to staging areas as directed; Properly maintains mixers as directed, including lubrication, and notifies supervisor of any mechanical defects; Has working knowledge of all materials involved in production process.
C.PUMP OPERATOR
Understands the operation of pumps and pressure differentials; Properly filters ink with bags and cartridges necessary for micro size; Selects the proper mixing tub for the batches; Shows all figures and weights on the batch tickets of all raw materials, so that steps may be retraced if necessary. High School Diploma or GED Language skills

, required to use PPE as provided, requires standing, bending, using continuous hand movements, able to see and read instructions clearly, able to work as a team and/or individually with minimal supervision. Cleans work areas daily, properly disposing of scrap ink, and follows all safety rules and regulations.
