Job Description

Job Description Insight Global is seeking Composite Technicians to join one of their clients in Valdosta, Georgia. This organization is focused on developing world-class Uncrewed Surface Vessels (USVs) for defense and security missions. Built to operate in complex maritime environments, these platforms deliver advanced autonomy, mission-ready payloads, and scalable capability to support operations ranging from ISR and maritime domain awareness to contested and high-risk missions. Our customer needs composite technicians to support the production of fiberglass components for unmanned surface vessels. This role focuses on composite infusion processes, quality execution, and safe manufacturing practices. Training is provided. What You Will Do
  •  Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
  •  Use proper PPE, tools, and material handling equipment at all times
  •  Prepare molds using detailed, multi step chemical processes
  •  Load, bag, and infuse fiberglass parts using composite infusion methods
  •  Pattern, cut, and prepare fiberglass materials
  •  Mix and prepare resins and hardeners for infusion
  •  Use hand tools and fixtures such as torque drivers, rollers, and test equipment
  •  Support production of hulls, decks, internal structures, and small components
  •  Perform in process inspections and visual quality checks
  •  Complete ISPC documentation for quality, safety, and productivity
  •  Report quality issues or process concerns to engineering or leadership

  •  One to three years of lamination or similar manufacturing experience preferred
  •  Ability to read technical drawings and work instructions
  •  Familiarity with hand tools used in manufacturing
  •  Basic understanding of composite infusion and chemical handling
  •  High school diploma or equivalent Physical and Work Environment
  •  Prolonged standing and walking in industrial environments
  •  Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  •  Use of PPE in designated areas
