Job Description

Operation Tech M-Thurs 7a-4p, Friday mornings as needed to hit 40 hours $20 per hour 2 year contract - potential for long term The primary purpose of this Operation Technician is to perform entry-level laboratory procedures and assist others in more advanced procedures for the production of veterinary biologicals according to strict government and company-imposed guidelines. Assist in all areas of the production of RNA (RP) Particle Vaccine products manufactured in a USDA licensed facility. Work activities include but are not limited to: Blend and Fill Team Maintains production records according to regulations Utilization of volumetric aseptic techniques Production of RP products for USDA licensure Maintenance of Vero cell line and related cell culture activities Assist with electroporation process Assist with RP harvest and formulation Make growth media Updates training record as needed Restock lab with supplies
Responsibilities:
Performing basic warehousing and material handling activities: unloading trucks, material movements, order fulfillment, and cycle counts. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Picking/putting away product Preparing materials for shipping Operating pallet jack Working with dry ice Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
