Accountable for changing batteries, rotating and charging batteries in the proper cycle, preventative maintenance, cleaning batteries and work area, minor repairs of cables and housings on batteries and chargers. Core Competencies Partnerships Growth mindset Results oriented Customer focused

None Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs service and repair on building facility requiring ability to perform the physical requirements exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly. Complies with all safety and sanitation programs. Performs battery maintenance, including watering, cleaning and simple repair by following a checklist. Organizes the battery rooms daily and changes out batteries as needed. Reports to work when scheduled and on time. Adheres to company policies and departmental guidelines.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
Must pass Distribution Physical and Drug Screen Good general maintenance skills, ability to operate equipment
Education and Experience:
High School or equivalent experience Previous general maintenance experience preferred Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct Reports):
None Physical Requirements:
This is a semi-skilled position. This is considered heavy work according to the Department Labor Weight Classifications. Requires frequent manual, motor and finger dexterity, standing, seeing, bending, stooping, carrying, pushing, pulling and visual acuity
Working Conditions:
The duties of this position are performed in a warehouse setting. There is exposure to dirt, noise, temperature extremes, equipment movement hazards, dangerous chemicals or solvents, and electrical shock. There is frequent pressure to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks in a day. Equipment Used to

Must provide own hand tools. Battery chargers, load bank, volt and amp meters, plastic welder, torch oxygen and acetylene, drill, power washer, walker and forklift
