  • $35 per hour Position Summary The facility is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing coordinator/ prod coordinator to support surgical and clinical operations.
This role is responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment while adhering to national standards and facility protocols to ensure patient safety. Key Responsibilities Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays Operate sterilization equipment, including: Autoclaves Washer-disinfectors Ultrasonic cleaners Perform and document biological and chemical indicator testing to validate sterilization processes Maintain accurate sterilization records and instrument tracking documentation Organize, restock, and distribute sterile supplies and equipment throughout the facility Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards Collaborate with operating room and nursing staff to ensure timely instrument availability Required Experience Minimum 2 years of recent Sterile Processing experience in a hospital or surgical services environment Strong knowledge of: Surgical instrument identification Sterilization methods and techniques Infection prevention and control standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting Required Certifications (Must be active at start) CRCST
  • Certified Registered Central Service Technician (HSPA) AHA BLS
