certified facility, holding both BRCGS and Gluten-Free Certification Organization certifications. We supply some of the most prominent retailers, wholesalers, and food companies in the United States. Our culture is built on employee safety, product quality, and continuous improvement. King Street Pizza Company was established by a group of experienced food industry professionals with a vision to provide brand protection and service at the highest level. The Company aims to become the leader in producing premium frozen pizzas. About the Role The Statistical Process Control (SPC) Operator is responsible for collecting, recording, analyzing, and communicating real-time process data from the production line to ensure that all critical control points remain within specification. This role uses statistical tools and charting methods to detect trends, variation, and process drift before they result in out-of-spec product — enabling the production team to make data-driven corrections proactively.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect process measurements at defined intervals from critical control points throughout the production line, including crust weight, sauce weight, topping weights (cheese, pepperoni, vegetable toppings), and finished pizza weight. Enter measurement data into SPC charts (X-bar/R charts, individuals charts, or digital SPC software) in real time during the production run. Monitor control charts for out-of-control signals: points outside control limits, runs of 3+ consecutive points on one side of the centerline, and trends of 3+ consecutive points moving in one direction. Immediately notify the Production Supervisor when an out-of-control condition is detected so that corrective action can be taken before non-conforming product accumulates. Calibrate and verify scales, measuring devices, and gauges used for SPC data collection at the beginning of each shift and at defined intervals; document calibration results. Maintain the SPC data log and shift summary report; submit to the Production Lead / Supervisor at the end of each shift. Maintain all SPC documentation, binders, and digital records in an organized and audit-ready condition. Report any unsafe conditions or acts. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control principles: control charts, control limits, process capability, common cause vs. special cause variation. Experience using SPC software or Excel-based charting tools is preferred. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Prior experience in a food manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or industrial production quality role preferred. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple data streams simultaneously during a live production run. Ability to work independently Able to lift ingredient samples and equipment (up to 25 lbs) What You Bring Bilingual in English and Spanish (required) High school diploma or GED Prior experience in a food manufacturing or production environment Familiarity with production equipment and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Excellent attendance and reliability Work Schedule Monday-Friday Occasionally Saturdays
