THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the Permanganates Shift Supervisors, the Field Operator will play a key role in safely producing high-quality chemical products that support environmental and public health applications. Here's what you'll own: Operate and control manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable production in both routine and emergency situations Monitor and maintain process equipment in alignment with established procedures to ensure consistent product quality Execute chemical processing activities, including raw material handling and reaction operations, to meet production targets and specifications Promote a strong safety culture by maintaining clean work areas and adhering to environmental, health, and safety standards Support continuous improvement and contribute to team success through additional responsibilities as assigned Why you'll love this role: Your work directly contributes to products that clean air, water, and soil, positively impacting communities You'll gain hands-on experience in a complex manufacturing environment with opportunities to grow your technical skills Be part of a safety-first team where your input and actions matter every day Work in a stable, community-focused organization with a strong local presence and long-term investment in its people
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The right candidate is a safety-focused, dependable team player who thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment and is eager to learn and grow.
What you bring:
High school diploma or equivalent Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime in support of continuous operations Strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a team-based environment Bonus points if you also have: Experience in chemical manufacturing, production, or laboratory settings Coursework or exposure to chemistry, chemical engineering, or related sciences
