!!!! Crysalis Biosciences Inc. is seeking skilled Chemical Operators. Our Chemical Operators are responsible for the operation of our computer-controlled process equipment, manual machinery, evaluation of process problems that may arise, and documenting process parameters. In addition, you will be a vital part of the team to help ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and control plant operations. Constantly review the plant operation, control the process, ensure quality product is produced, anticipate and solve problems, and help identify opportunities for improvement. Participate in projects to improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs. Maintain records of key production variables (including production volume, yield, plant uptime, and utility consumption) Collaborate and effectively communicate with QA to ensure effective participation in QA programs related to sampling and testing process streams and products Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety procedures. Coordinate with maintenance to ensure timely repair work by assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting any maintenance issues. Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs. Maintain compliance with any applicable city, county, state, and federal regulations relating to operations. Ensures plant cleanliness and monitors use/inventory of process chemicals and supplies. Handle raw materials and finished products using proper materials handling techniques, including forklift operation when required.
Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour
