Job Description:
PROCESS SUPERVISOR
Summar yOversees biofuel production and process operations - including fermentation, distillation, and related systems - to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety. Leads a team of board operators and process technicians, manages daily operations, monitors equipment, troubleshoots issues, and ensures regulatory compliance. A hands-on role working on the floor 50-90% of the shift. Duties may change as assigned Key Responsibiliti esSupervise shift operations, ensuring adherence to production plans and safety protocol s.

Train and mentor team members in safety, process control, and troubleshootin g.

Monitor process parameters and equipment, adjusting to maintain efficiency and qualit y.

Inspect equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance to minimize downtim e.

Enforce all safety, health, and environmental policies, taking corrective action as neede d.

Analyze production data and drive continuous improvement initiative s.

Collaborate with maintenance, QA, and engineering on equipment repair s.

Manage inventory of raw materials, chemicals, and supplie s.

Prepare reports on production, efficiency, safety, and complianc e.

Help develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs ). Qualificati onsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary training in Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or a related field preferr ed.3+ years in biofuel production, fermentation, distillation, or a similar chemical process role preferr ed.

Strong knowledge of fermentation, distillation, and related process equipment and troubleshooti ng.

Proficient with process control systems and Microsoft Offi ce.

Familiar with OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory standar ds.

Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skil ls. Schedule & Physical Requirem ents12-hour rotating day/night shifts; regular attendance requi red.

Manufacturing environment with chemicals, high noise, heat, and heavy machin ery.

Stand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders and work at heights up to 175 ft.
