Job Description:

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Work in a safe and efficient manner using all personal protective, safety equipment and devices that are required, in accordance with all STW documentation (if STW is not developed for any process within this job, proper training techniques must be followed). 2. Assist with the completion of material changes, option changes, and mold and version changes. 3. Perform nozzle preparation, including the cleaning, testing and assembling of nozzles and nozzle blocks. 4. Clean presses and press areas as needed. 5. Follow all company policies and procedures. 6. Actively participate in safety activities. 7. Participate in safety and communications meetings as scheduled. 8.

Support in times of need:

i.e., production support, vacation coverage, and overtime changeover support. 9. Complete all safety and company compliance training on time and according to schedule. 10. Fill in for Relief Operators and Production Operators as needed. 11. Perform daily checks and audits of process systems including but not limited to mold pre-stage checks, water line checks, 5S audits, and Daily Equipment Checks (DEC). 12. Assist other Technical team members in their daily job duties, including preventive maintenance on injection molding tools and equipment. 13. Be actively involved in Continuous Improvement; promote and sustain all CI, 5S and STW activities. 14. Other duties as assigned. Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities 1. Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner. 2. Ability to STOP-THINK-ACT and work safely. 3. Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business. 4. Ability to work on a rotating shift. 5. Ability to work rotating job stations. 6. Ability to effectively work in teams and independently. 7. Ability to professionally accept constructive feedback and criticism. 8. Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people. 9. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles. 10. Ability to operate hand and power tools. 11. Ability to pass Paulson and forklift certification. 12. Knowledge of ORBIS Production systems, including the Material Handler and Production Operator positions
