Job Title:

Utility Operator Job Description This role involves ensuring the proper care and treatment of customer inventory, performed in a safe and responsible manner to prevent any loss or damage. You will review job folders to verify processing areas, perform visual inspections for defects, and use various hand tools to execute processing according to work instructions. Accurate recording and signing off on all applicable data is required, along with reporting any problems or inaccuracies to the Lead or Supervisor. You will assist in developing processes to enhance operations and adhere to Environment, Health, and Safety Policy requirements, including maintaining a neat work area, wearing PPE, and disposing of waste properly. Responsibilities Review job folders to verify processing areas. Perform visual inspections of parts for defects. Use hand tools to perform processing as per work instructions. Record and sign off on all applicable data in the job folder. Report problems or inaccuracies in job folders to Lead or Supervisor. Follow in-process inspection procedures to ensure compliance. Assist in developing processes to improve operations. Observe all Environment, Health and Safety Policy requirements. Essential Skills Production and manufacturing experience. Material handling expertise. Mechanical aptitude. Proficiency with hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work in sitting and standing positions for extended periods. Manual dexterity for detailed post-processing operations.

ITAR compliance requirement:

must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident. Experience with hand tools for manual processes preferred. Experience in production environments preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
