Job Description

CPC Park City is a manufacturer of quality livestock feeds, block and tub supplements for industry leading distributors and producers. Our Park City, KY, plant is hiring a Process Technician for both 1st and 2nd shifts to contribute to the production and packaging of animal nutrition products.
FIRST SHIFT
schedule is 5:00a
  • 1:30p and
SECOND SHIFT
schedule is 1:00p
  • 9:30p, Monday
  • Friday.
Occasional overtime/Saturday work may be required. CPC serves customers across the Southeast and in Mid-America with its headquarters located on the original family farm in Kentucky. What you will be doing:
  • Operating equipment and technology tools throughout the facility which may include blenders, grinders, block press, packing, weighing, palletizers, etc.
  • As needed, collect product samples, utilizing computer systems to input and record data to ensure accurate production
  • Manufacturing products to ensure that they meet specifications
  • Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment
  • Operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, loaders, etc.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned This path is for you if you have:
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 55lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Ability to work overtime including holidays, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice
  • Must be 18 years old and eligible to work in the
