This position is responsible for operating and monitoring refinery systems through computerized control systems and manual operations to safely produce high-quality products according to customer specifications.
Schedule:
2-week rotating 12-hour shift schedule: Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday (48 hours) Week 2: Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday (36 hours)
Shift Options:
Day Shift:
5:00 AM - 5:00
PM Night Shift:
5:00 PM - 5:00
AM Key Responsibilities:
Operate computerized control systems and manual valves to control refinery processes Start up and monitor refinery systems and equipment Perform equipment inspections and routine safety checks Collect product samples and conduct laboratory testing Record production and quality data into SAP and tracking systems Troubleshoot equipment issues and report maintenance needs Participate in shutdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities Perform Lockout/Tagout procedures as required Maintain clean and safe work areas Support safety, quality, and production goals
Qualifications:
Previous manufacturing, refinery, chemical plant, or industrial experience preferred Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends Comfortable working in industrial environments and around machinery Basic computer and troubleshooting skills Strong attention to safety and detail Ability to lift, climb, work overhead, and perform physical tasks
