Job Description

Position Description Advanced FRP Systems Production Technician Who We Are Advanced FRP Systems is a manufacturer of high-strength polymeric composites used to repair and rehabilitate aging and corroded infrastructure. We specialize in high-strength carbon fiber systems and offer innovative repair solutions for pipes, tanks, pillars and pressurized vessels for a variety of industries. Our turnkey solutions include infrastructure assessment; pre-application, design, and engineering; product supply; applicator training and project oversight. We are looking for individuals with good work ethics and are willing to be trained Position The Production Technician is expected to perform all aspects of manufacturing, dispensing, and packaging of polymeric materials with a strict adherence to standard processes and quality control procedures. Production Technicians are expected to use medium-to-large industrial mixers along with other equipment. The Production Technician will also be required to assist with fulfilling purchase orders in a timely manner, up to and including labeling and packaging of various units. The Technician will be expected to maintain a clean work area and abide by all health and safety protocols set forth by Advanced FRP. All employees of Advanced FRP are expected to maintain a great work ethic, the ability to work both individually and as part of a team, and a willingness to be trained. Responsibilities Manufacturing, dispensing and packaging of finished goods, including palletizing and shipping. Utilize ERP software including inventory and manufacturing software to track all operations and inventory moves within the manufacturing facility and warehouse. Receiving, organizing, and tracking of inventory, including the operation of forklifts and other equipment. Performing routine upkeep and maintenance of facilities, machinery, and other equipment. Assist with other inventory and manufacturing processes as needed Requirements The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, solutions-oriented team player with: US work authorization and at minimum a HS Diploma or equivalent Related manufacturing work experience a plus but not mandatory Familiarity with inventory management software highly desired Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel and Outlook Good communication skills, both written and oral; ability to read and write effectively The ability to work within a manufacturing warehouse with a variety of chemicals as well as in office conditions. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Ability to perform other duties as needed Compensation Advanced FRP will provide a competitive compensation package commensurate with the experience of the successful candidate including health insurance, dental insurance, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with employer match, paid vacation and holidays as well as other benefits.
