Job Description

Process Technician Operator - 3rd Shift Process Technician learns both latex and alkyd resin. This role prepares the pre-weighs for the product, follows the batch ticket and instructions for the product they are making. Process Technician adds the raw materials into the kettles, watches the temperatures, conducts double checks and quality checks, documents data on paper and within the computer system then transfers the batch to holding tank.

Shift Schedule:
Sunday to Friday, 10:00pm to 6:00am.
Shift Differential:
$0.80 Per Hour. This position is also eligible for bonus based on performance and subject to the terms of the Company's applicable plans. Job duties include contact with other employees, operating heavy machinery, and access to proprietary information, raw materials, finished merchandise, and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. The Company tfore has determined that a review of criminal history is necessary to protect the business and its operations and reputation and is necessary to protect the safety of the Company's staff, employees, and vendors.
  • Operates a reactor utilizing a computerized control system to ensure the proper chemical reactions and requirements occur; follows appropriate batch ticket and operational procedures.
  • Stages, prepares, lifts, and loads raw materials and other components required for the production process; will also utilize a computerized or automatic process to perform tasks.
  • Monitors and adjusts gauges, valves, switches, pumps, and other components according to production requirements.
  • Ensures compliance with operating policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment and efficient operations; may require the employee to wear safety equipment or gear.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork and/or enters data regarding materials, work-in-progress, finished goods, and other operations to ensure records and actions are accurate.
  • Assists with maintaining a clean and safe working environment and may perform various janitorial or housekeeping tasks.
  • Communicates with maintenance, quality control, warehousing, and other departments to maintain a safe and effective environment and to ensure quality products.
  • Prepares and/or performs quality control analysis, testing, and review to ensure adnce to standards and parameters.
  • May operate a variety of computerized, manual, and mechanical equipment to mix, fill, unload, label, pack, and store working-progress and finished goods.
  • Work with hazardous materials and will require annual hazardous material training.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future.
  • Must have manufacturing experience.
  • Must have at least one (1) year of manufacturing experience within production
  • Must be able to obtain OSHA Fork Truck certification with the ability to operate fork truck.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have at least three (2) years of manufacturing experience as a process technician in production.
  • Have manufacturing experience in a process technician capacity.
