Processing Operator Location:
Sturgis, MI 49091
Schedule:
Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | 5:30 AM - 6:00
PM Pay Rate:
$16.69 Help Us Nourish Lives We're looking for a dedicated Processing Operator to join our Sturgis team. In this role, you'll be at the heart of manufacturing liquid pediatric and medical nutritional products that makes a meaningful difference in people's lives every day. What You'll Do Operate and monitor computer-controlled blending, weighing, and heat treatment systems . Weigh, stage, and document raw ingredients using batch control systems. Perform cleaning and sanitization of equipment using a CIP (clean-in-place) system . Complete accurate documentation in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) . Maintain GMP compliance through routine equipment cleaning, preventative maintenance, and area sanitation. Transport and receive bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals. Support blending operations by preparing and monitoring bulk slurries. Perform additional duties as needed to keep production running smoothly.
What We're Looking For Education:
High school diploma or GED required; some college or vocational training preferred.
Experience:
Prior experience in food manufacturing, batch processing, or GMP environments strongly desired.
Skills:
Strong written, verbal, and computer skills. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability. Ability to multitask, follow detailed procedures, and make sound decisions.
