This hands-on leadership role serves as the primary mentor, trainer, and certifier of all mixers, while ensuring Safety, Quality, Productivity, and environmental compliance at each plant. This position inspects and verifies mixing processes, equipment, and documentation daily, while promptly communicating issues or concerns to employees, Supervisors and their MGR. The mixer lead reports directly to Pultrusion MGR and will perform mixer duties if needed to support production requirements.

Leadership & People Development Build trust, communicate expectations, and assist Supervisors in leading, directing, and coaching team of 5-10 mixers Support Supervisors in building a cohesive, engaged mixing team focused on meeting Safety, Quality, Productivity, and training objectives. Ensure all mixers are trained and competent; partner with Supervisors/MGR to develop and execute training•Promote a positive, engaged work environment aligned with company's TRUE values, policies, and mission Provide regular performance feedback and development input to Supervisors and Manager Operational Excellence Proactively maintain a safe work environment through daily inspection of proper PPE, floor management, and waste handling policies and procedures, for all mixers on shift Submit daily Safety, Quality, & Productivity audits/grades to MGR for all mixer activities across G1 and G2 Ensure strict adherence to work instructions and product acceptance criteria Inspect mixing processes, products, and equipment to meet or exceed Safety and Quality KPIs Verify mixing equipment and tools are properly maintained and in safe working condition Plan and monitor workflow to achieve production goals on time, in full, and within quality specifications Coordinate chemical handling, transfer, and documentation between buildings and waste centers Identify and communicate updates to Work Instructions as needed Identify and participate in 6S or continuous improvement initiatives Administration & Reporting Complete daily audit checklists and hazardous waste/pump-out logs with full accuracy Provide feedback and input to Supervisor(s), for employee Performance Reviews (30/60/90/ and annual) Maintain accurate system documentation and records Report to work prepared and on time; perform other duties, in any area of the plant assigned Support the Mission of the organization and adhere to all company policies. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong commitment to Safety, Quality, Productivity, and people development Minimum 1 year experience at Mixer Level IV, or equivalent leadership experience Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment required Excellent communication, interpersonal teamwork, and problem-solving skills Strong organizational and prioritization skills; high attention to detail Able to read, write, and communicate in English Mechanically inclined and able to read a tape measure and scale Able to work independently and lead with minimal supervision. Physical Work Conditions Position is located on the production floor, standing for up to 12 hours a day. Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals.
