Compounding Tech / Chemical Operator

Nesco Resource is hiring for a Compounding Technician / Chemical Operator Hickory, NC 3rd

Shift Starting Pay:

$18.00+ (Based on Experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Process and mix chemicals following formulas and batch instructions Package and prepare finished products for shipment Monitor equipment and troubleshoot minor issues Operate a forklift as needed Complete production paperwork and documentation Use Microsoft Excel and Word for daily tasks Follow all safety and quality procedures Assist with other duties as assigned

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required Good math and problem-solving skills Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to work throughout the production facility

Preferred Experience:

Chemical manufacturing or production experience Experience working with liquid processing equipment Knowledge of basic chemistry Experience with boilers, wastewater systems, or hoisting equipment is a plus Forklift experience preferred Ideal candidates will be safety-focused, detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
