Founded in 1988, the company manufactures synthetic resins and other specialty chemicals for industrial application. We are seeking a friendly and professional person to join our team for 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift. Job Description
  • Carries out production for various emulsion polymer and ketone aldehyde products.
  • Manages and assigns various support activities to the material specialists as required.
  • Makes certain the production process runs safely and efficiently.
  • Ensures the production process produces quality results.
  • Coordinates efforts with technical and supervisory personnel. Duties
  • Monitors the equipment under your charge - controlling instrumentation, ensuring they are working properly, and coordinating with maintenance if needed.
  • Executes proper procedures and handles equipment during shut down cycles or emergencies.
  • Obtains samples of the batch for QC checks and makes necessary adjustments based off those results.
  • Performs administrative tasks such as recording data and completing formulas and batch tickets and verify all batch tickets are filled out properly at the end of your shift.
  • Must be able to both load and unload tankers and railcars, and tote up product as part of your shift. Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidate must bring 2-3 years previous operational or relatable experience in the chemical industry.
  • Possesses familiarity with IGNITION or other control software.
  • Demonstrates multitasking and exceptional time management skills.
  • Has good mechanical and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Exhibits good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Displays excellent communication abilities.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
