In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing specialized manufacturing processes that require precision, technical expertise, and adherence to quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that complex fabrication, machining, and assembly operations are performed efficiently and accurately, supporting our commitment to delivering top-quality products. The successful candidate will report directly to the production manager and will be responsible for manufacturing operations through paint and passivation process.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
:
  • Work in a safe manner at all times while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Perform chemical processing on aerospace components maintaining strict adherence to safety procedures
  • Adhere to manufacturing procedures and ensure compliance to process controls
  • Clean, prepare, mask and paint aerospace components in accordance with drawing requirements to support production and new product introduction with minimal supervision.
  • Mixing of chemicals to manufacturing control requirements
  • Perform process controls to achieve specifications defined in inspection documents and technical drawings
  • Spray paint to correct thickness in accordance with drawing requirements
  • Dimensional inspection to ensure paint coverage and thickness meets specifications on drawing.
  • Visually inspection to ensure conformance to acceptance standard Log any abnormalities or paint defects on inspection form
  • Ability to troubleshoot process issues relating to paint equipment and painting equipment.
  • Work with others in a team setting by sharing responsibilities, such as supporting other manufacturing processes
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor and co-workers.
  • Maintain inventory, order supplies for paint and chemical processing.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Complete daily asset care and process control logs
  • Perform preventative maintenance paint process equipment and tools.
  • Crosstrain to support manufacturing special processes
  • Follow area PPE requirements including but not limited to half face respirator, chemical resistant hand & body protection & face shield/goggles.
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
:
  • Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAINING
: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Job position requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, and gloves. Loose fitting clothes and dangling jewelry are not permitted as detailed in safety requirements.
