Dryer Operators Job Description We are seeking skilled Dryer Operators to set up, run, and monitor the process of drying chemical slurry. This role requires the ability to operate industrial dryers, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs on process equipment. Operators will be responsible for drying wet products, packaging, and documenting the process. Responsibilities Set up, operate, and monitor industrial dryers to dry chemical slurry. Track and record production output using computers in the tracking system. Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on process equipment. Understand the operation, start-up, shutdown, and potential hazards of each piece of equipment in the assigned work area. Familiarize with the layout and purpose of equipment and its impact on the surrounding process and storage areas. Maintain a full understanding of operating procedures, including process, safety, and maintenance protocols. Comprehend the chemical and process hazards in the area. Essential Skills Experience in operating process equipment for 1-2 years. Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot and perform minor repairs. Proficiency in using computers for documentation and tracking production output. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with operating procedures and safety protocols. Understanding of chemical processes and hazards. Mechanical and technical aptitude in production environments. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
