Process Operator

Process Operator Full-Time | Nevada (On-Site Mine Location) Job Summary Walker Lane Mining LLC is seeking a Process Operator to support mining operations by operating and maintaining the Merrill-Crowe and Carbon plants, as well as managing piping systems and solution flows. This role ensures that production meets quality and quantity targets in alignment with the mine plan. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor Merrill-Crowe and Carbon plant systems Adjust solution flows, circuits, and chemical levels to maintain production targets Assist with layout and maintenance of drip lines and piping systems (HDPE/Yelomine) Monitor and assist with lime and cyanide offloading processes Collect solution samples and perform cyanide titration testing Adjust solution flows to the heap and coordinate piping changes Maintain inventory of piping materials and coordinate reorders Operate equipment including forklift, skid-steer, backhoe, and dozer as needed Assist with minor plant maintenance and repairs Monitor and adjust lime addition systems based on pH levels Operate zinc feeder systems and adjust flow rates Maintain awareness of pond systems, piping, valves, and plant operations Follow instructions and perform additional duties as assigned Safety & Environmental Responsibilities Comply with MSHA safety regulations and environmental policies Participate in inspections and maintain safe work practices Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Previous process or mining experience preferred Basic math and computer skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and prioritize work Ability to adapt to changing operational needs Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Willingness to assist in other areas of the mine Valid Driver's License required Work Conditions Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Exposure to chemicals, noise, fumes, and extreme temperatures Work around heavy equipment and moving machinery Ability to work overtime, weekends, and on-call schedules Required PPE including respirator when needed Walker Lane Mining LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer in the State of Nevada. | Jennifer.
