Job Description

The Chemical Process Operator position is responsible for the manufacture, packaging, and distribution of specialty chemical products.
Shift:
First Shift:
6AM to 6PM; Rotating 4 days on, 4 days off
Third Shift:
6PM to 6AM; Rotating 4 nights on, 4 nights off Starting rate is $28.06 Shift Differential for second shift: +$1.00 per hour Periodic pay increases throughout first 18 months reaching $34.39 per hour!
Job Duties:
Operation and troubleshooting of chemical process and process equipmentConduct environmental inspections and required emergency response.

Follow documented process procedures and training (including applicable food and API regulations) in assigned areas; completes required paperwork properlyComputer system entry to include: inventory of packaged material, creation of work orders, spreadsheets for critical process information, and creating labels for samples. Relay pertinent process information to co-workers and supervisorPerform pack out of liquid and solid product and palletization of packagesDrive a fork liftMaintain good housekeeping of work areasSupport Behavior Based Safety process by performing observations Supports Loss Control policy, AIMS, ISO 9001 and
OHSAS 18001
management systems.

Must be able to climb ladders, work outside in all weather conditions, lift up to 50 lbs and wear Personal Protective Equipment including SCBA respiratorMust be able to work a 12 hour shift schedule; 4 days/nights on, 4 days/nights off
Qualifications:
HS Diploma or GEDMinimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing or related field preferredBasic computer skills
