CCR Technician Tonawanda, NY, United States | req28602 What you will enjoy doing• Remotely monitor and operate over 450 air separation facilities using advanced control systems Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot plant issues via phone and computer interfaces Start up and shut down air separation equipment to meet production demands and maintain efficiency Process and analyze information from multiple plant control systems to make informed operational decisions Manage communications including phone calls, emails, and computer-based logbooks in a fast-paced control room environment Follow strict safety policies and operating procedures to ensure safe and reliable plant operations Work 12-hour rotating swing shifts with flexibility for occasional shift changes, overtime, and shift coverage Support on-site facility operations with up to 10% travel as required Collaborate as a team player in a dynamic, safety-focused environment that values diversity and inclusion What makes you great Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts with occasional changes and willingness to cover overtime shifts Strong computer proficiency and technical training in control room operations Experience in chemical process or power generation operations, or a recent graduate with an engineering-related degree Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and respond to operational issues Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% for on-site facility support Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within a diverse and inclusive workplace
