Compensation for this position will be determined based on a combination of factors, including education, professional certifications, relevant experience, and other job-related considerations permitted by law. Role Overview The Production Operator I supports manufacturing operations by operating industrial equipment and executing production processes to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role follows established procedures and safety standards while contributing to consistent production performance and operational reliability. The position plays a key role in maintaining quality, supporting team operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment, including mixers, blenders, mills, furnaces, dryers, and material handling systems. Follow production instructions, work orders, and procedures to execute daily manufacturing activities accurately. Monitor process conditions and equipment performance to maintain product quality and operational efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while supporting team operations and production goals. Adhere to all safety, environmental, and operational requirements, including proper use of PPE and compliance standards. Required Qualifications Ability to read, write, and follow instructions, procedures, and production documentation. 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and continuous movement during shifts. Ability to work safely in industrial conditions, including exposure to dust, fumes, and variable temperatures. Ability to follow safety protocols and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Experience operating industrial or material handling equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain product quality and consistency. Effective communication and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.
